"My son who went into the day surgery for Teeth Extractions"

My son who has ASN needs had an amazing experience at Monklands Hospital Day Surgery Unit. 

The staff made my son and us a his parents feel very comfortable. When we down into the theatre the staff made my son feel comfortable by having a laugh with him and distracting him. When he came back to us his peppy cuddle toy had its own mask, cap and cannula in his paw. This made my son smile and will treasure the pictures. 

My son can be very anxious but he was put an ease.

I want to say a huge thank you to the dentist, anaesthetist and all the staff in the theatre, recovery and department.

Please do pass on my thanks. I can’t talk highly enough of the staff. When seen his peppy cuddle toy had a wee cannula in his paw he was taken with it. Just going that extra mile.
