"All staff have been amazing"

About: Regional Disablement Service

(as a carer),

My husband had a below knee amputation in 2023. He attended Musgrave early 2024 and again very recently. He had great difficulty with his prosthesis as his right leg and foot have a lot of nerve damage and he can be in a lot of pain with it.

All the staff in this department have been amazing and treated him with respect and dignity, nothing was a bother for them. The communication between staff and us as a family has also been great and everything explained very well. They are also doing a home visit which is very much appreciated.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication, from doctors, nurses, OTs, physios, clinical psychologist, support staff. Apologies if I have left anyone out.
