"Trying to stop smoking Cannabis"

About: Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service - STARS / Young People (T3)

(as a service user),

I was referred to t3 for support for my cannabis . I stopped for 6 weeks and learnt about the effects from smoking cannabis and what it does to my health. After not smoking any for 6 weeks I struggled to be around friends who smoke it and have started to smoke again but I'm not ready to change it again.

Hi I am Liz the T3 manager thank you for sending us your feedback which I will share with the team.

Well done on being cannabis free for six weeks and for engaging in support from the service which takes commitment and motivation.

You have shown reflection around your own goals and now know you can stop smoking cannabis again when you are ready by using the advice and tools provided by your case worker. If you feel you need further support from the service in the future you can self refer through the online portal or contact your case worker again who will be happy to work with you.

I wish you every happiness for the future.

Liz
