"A great experience"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Fracture Clinic (orthopaedics) Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I was extremely anxious coming to the hospital with my mobility issues, I had to go to the fracture clinic, which was a fair walk. But with a lot of benches on route to catch my breath I made it without any issues.

My Consultant, Mr Chambers, was extremely professional and extremely kind, and navigated me through the treatment, including going for an x ray and getting the results straight away, and treatment administered.  Thank You.

Previously in 2023, I had come in via Ambulance twice, with hip dislocations, the staff in A&E and Ambulance Crews  were first rate  and were professional and caring ,along with the nursing staff on the wards, who  showed a lot of empathy.

Dear Sunseeker

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand that coming to the hospital with mobility concerns can be daunting, and we’re glad to hear that the availability of benches along the way helped make your visit more manageable.

It’s wonderful to know that Mr Chambers provided professional and compassionate care, ensuring you felt supported throughout your treatment. We’re pleased that the process was smooth—from your X-ray to receiving results and treatment promptly.

We really appreciate your kind words about our A&E team, Ambulance crews, and nursing staff from your previous visits. The staff will be delighted to hear that they made such a difference.

Best wishes

Nicole
