"Good luck getting to see anyone"

About: Penn Manor Medical Practice

This surgery has now moved to using an app for booking appointments. The app is awful, not user friendly and sometimes just does not work..... but you don't know that until you go into the surgery to ask the progress of something.

You cannot call, you cannot even book a face to face over the counter. You are told, rather rudely, to do it all on the app. My wife put in a repeat prescription for her pill and was told she hadn't had it for three years. Then had to wait another two days for them to do it "in a rush". One locum didn't sign off on epilepsy medication without seeing her first.....was he checking she still had epilepsy???

I couldn't tell you who my Doctor actually is. Every time we go there are a sea of new Locums who are using guesswork to diagnose you. You may as well diagnose yourself and tell them what you want. It's an absolute joke. Gone are the days when you saw the same doctor every time. The same doctor who knew your mom, nan and everything about your history.

The only service that is really good here are the nurses. They really care about you and know what they are doing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your frustrations during your recent experiences of our practice.

Our practices use an appointment system called Total Triage, this is accessed via our website (www.rwtprimarycare.nhs.uk). If patients don't feel comfortable using our website, they can call the practice directly or visit the practice and speak to a member of staff face-to-face who can fill the form in on their behalf.

Unfortunately we can't comment on individual cases, but we are more than happy to look into your concerns. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01902 695368 or email rwh-tr.pals@nhs.net.
