I came in to A&E at the RAH on a Friday night with stroke like symptoms after a long week of coping with a terrible migraine. I just want to say that the care I received all weeked was amazing. Yes I had a long wait but this was a Friday night and there was so many challenges for the staff. All the nurses and the Dr's who took care of me made me feel really safe.
After A&E I was taken to acute medical unit and then placed in the acute stroke ward. I was very muddled at the time so unfortunately I don't remember anyone's name. I also had a ct scan and mri while there. Each department made me feel very well cared for and safe. This safety came from all hospital staff Dr's, consultants, nurses porters, auxiliary.
Thank you all of you for giving me 1st class care under so much pressure.
