"Wonderful Appointment Experience "

Had a standard triage phone appointment and was offered a face to face, I was pleased to be offered this as a same day appointment.

The appointment itself was the most positive GP appointment I’ve ever had, not only did I feel completely listened to and was not in any way made to feel silly or small which I often have been before at my previous GP practice, I also felt the examination was performed with care and attention, and each step was explained in terms of what was being checked and their medical opinion of what they found during my examination. I was not rushed out of the door and felt comfortable asking questions and was fully satisfied with everything I was being told as it felt informative and reassuring.

I believe I was seen by an advanced nurse practitioner, and this person then went above and beyond to include my three year old daughter in my examination and let her feel involved which she loved, whilst not taking away from my care at all.

This is exactly what patient care should be. Thank you 😊
