"My daddy"

About: Mater Hospital / Ward B

(as a relative),

I cannot thank the staff in ward B enough for everything they done to make my dad comfortable at the end of his life and looked after us at this time. They went above and beyond and every single member off staff -  doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, student and support services staff -  were so comforting and kind, honestly no amount of thanks would ever be enough!

Dear hekarg78

My name is Bernie Carey and I am the service manager for ward B. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your safe and thankful experience while visiting your father while on ward B. Please can I pass on my sincere condolences to you and your wider family following the death of your father. This is a very sad time for you and we are so sorry for your loss at this time.

We are so grateful for your heartfelt thanks. Staff are always delighted to hear they have done a good job and to hear they went above and beyond and provided a kind and caring service especially when a loved one is dying. I am so pleased he was well looked after and comfortable in his final hours Thank you and I will pass on your feedback to all the staff on ward B.

Take care

Bernie
