"I have received no call back"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Ward C1 Gynaecology

(as a service user),

While working night shift in another NHS trust, I had some spotting and was kindly seen and scanned by the team there. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage.

On leaving work in the early morning I called and left a message with Antrim EPU. I was disappointed that this was a voicemail and now despite further calls to the ward explaining my situation, I have received no call back let alone appointment.

I have been left feeling alone and without support or any care as to how difficult this situation is.

Hi Brenda, thank you for your reply. I got a call back approx 12 hrs and 3 calls later. Unfortunately I felt the caller lacked compassion and it felt like I may as well have been talking about my online shopping.

Overall the experience has made this difficult time, harder than it should have been.
