"Explained everything so clearly"

Attended today with my Parents, aged 84 and 85.  The care we received by all members of staff was outstanding, in particular the Consultant who saw us explained everything so clearly and didn’t appear to be in any rush to bring the appointment to a close. He treated us in a very personable way snd we left feeling very reassured.

Both myself and my Mum have worked and are still working in the NHS and we felt compelled to mention the exceptional care we were met with today in a climate when only the negative is highlighted.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided by the Urology Team at University Hospital Ayr.

I am glad to hear that you and your parents received such professional and knowledgeable care during your appointment. It’s often the small things that can make such a difference, such as taking time to listen to concerns and provide advice to reassure patients and put them at ease, resulting in a positive experience for them.

When times are challenging, it’s always nice to hear such positive feedback from our patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind words with the clinic staff. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported.
