"Paediatric Physio @ UH Wishaw"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Outpatients Physiotherapy

(as a parent/guardian),

my son was referred for an assessment by Paediatrics owing to some muscle pain that was impacting his daily life. He was seen twice in the clinic by Jay and Taylor. They were so so thorough, they spoke to him at his level, explained everything, demonstrated things for him they needed him to do but he perhaps didn't grasp (he has autism) and it was a very all round excellent service. We didn't quite get any answers; but we did get assurances that there doesn't seem to be any particular mechanically 'wrong' but some great advice about how we could increase muscle movement.

Access offered if we need it due to flare up etc and links sent for yoga / pilates and stretches to keep everything supple :)

Thank you betajt86 for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback and I have passed this on to Taylor and Jay. I'm sorry to hear that your son is experiencing pain, but I'm glad that Taylor and Jay were able to make him feel comfortable during the appointment and that you found their explanations reassuring.

I am also glad that the advice given was helpful and I hope that your son's pain settles.

Kind regards

Anne McKenna
