"Superb care despite a long wait"

Attended via NHS24 for a bad cut on my shin recently. Despite the long wait (2hours for triage - further 6 hours for treatment), the care was superb. Medical staff were exemplary, quickly got my pain under control, x ray and stitches. Nursing staff gave me a much needed cuppa and tetanus shot. Excellent service.

I am sorry to hear of the extended wait you faced when attending for the cut on your shin but I am delighted that the nursing and medical staff treated you with exemplary care. It makes such a difference to have such excellent support and thorough treatment.
