My daughter recently was referred to the Paediatric Allergy clinic for testing of suspected allergies. Myself and my husband attended along with our little girl and the care we received was outstanding from clerking in to the testing and diagnosis.
Nicola, ANP, was excellent - she was really empathetic with our situation and was a great listener, especially being first time parents she was really reassuring.
The team did the testing there and then, meaning we didn’t have to attend another appointment, which was great with a small baby.
HCSW Christine was great with our little girl whilst doing the testing and was really patient.
We then got a diagnosis within 20 minutes and have a full management plan for our daughter’s allergies, which is so reassuring and means we can implement the plan straight away.
Nicola also made sure we had chance to ask any questions and ensured we were all on the same page about future treatment plans.
We were really impressed with the care we received and are so grateful for the team's efficiency and hard work. Thank you so much!
