About: Royal Bolton Hospital

The Opthamology service provided by Bolton NHS should be an exemplar for the NHS as a whole.

The speed of referal from optician to hospital and then specialist eye clinic

(at Waters Meeting Heath Centre) was amazing -attended Bolton Hospital eye clinic 4.00pm, First appointment at Waters Meeting 9.00am the following day.

At all stages the staff were competant, courteous and reassuring, (especially at Waters Meeting where the first appointment for treatment could well be a terrifying experience!)

I cannot thank all the staff involved for their outstanding care.
