"My ears"

Because I have severe hearing loss I have to attend the ENT department at Newark Hospital every three months to check my ears are ok and to have micro suction because of  wax build up.

I was given two appointments in March and one in May. I sent an email cancelling the March appointments as I couldn't make them and made no mention of the May appointment.

On looking on my NHS app to check the time of my May appointment, I discovered that it had been cancelled. I asked why and was told that I had cancelled it myself and that I had been put back on the waiting list.

I didn't cancel it and I told them that, I also re-sent the original email about cancelling the March appointments. I have heard nothing since, I have also written to PALS and have heard nothing from them either.

This is all very disappointing as these appointments are important to me to enable me to use what little hearing I have as if my ears get blocked up I can't hear at all even when I wear my hearing aid. So because someone didn't read my email properly I have now got a problem and have got to wait however long for another appointment.
