About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as the patient),

The staff were fantastic during my induction and labour. I felt listened to and every midwife, student and doctor communicated what was happening brilliantly with me.

I had to have an emergency c section and I was able to do this under general anaesthetic by request. My care team gave me time to process what was happening and made a scary situation less stressful. 

My aftercare was fantastic. The midwives were very attentive and answered all my questions.
