"Thankful from the bottom of my heart"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Cardio-Respiratory

(as the patient),

I made a silly mistake somehow and turned for an appointment at the North Devon District Hospital, Cardiorespiratory Clinic a week early despite having the appointment in my iPhone Callander and a letter.

I have to say your staff at this Clinic were absolutely amazing and instead of sending me away, which wouldn’t have been a problem, they managed to slot me in.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff, especially Michelle for  sorting me out, such a caring special lady.

Another Thank you I should have done, better late than never is to A&E department, I used this department on 2 occasions, first time about 12 months ago and the other earlier one this year and both for chest infections and breathing difficulties . I really appreciate this department is always under pressure yet they do an amazing job and probably don’t get the praise they deserve, I for one appreciate them all and thank them from the bottom of my heart for doing an amazing job. Thank you all.

Thank you for your kind words, I am so glad we were able to accommodate the mistake, it happens more often than you think! I will pass on your comments to Michelle.

The Cardio-Respiratory team always have our patients wellbeing and care foremost in their mind and strive to meet this regardless of how busy they maybe.

I thank you for taking the time to feedback your thoughts and will ensure that the team get to see this feedback from you.

Best wishes

Sally
