"Top marks to all involved"

About: Mid-Ulster Hospital / Children's Eye Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter attended for review appointment -  she is eleven now and interactions of staff were reflective of her age and stage of development and ability to engage in conversation pertaining to her health.

Jo, the nurse completing vision checks, was supportive and encouraging when my child was nervous and helped her to engage meaningfully in testing.

Dr Pritchard was respectful of my child's ability to understand health information and delivered information to her in a clear and appropriate way which enabled her to make decisions about her care.

Top marks to all involved and thank you for taking the time to leave my daughter with a positive view of help seeking behaviours.

Dear CG153,

The Children's Eye team really appreciate receiving feedback from children and their parents/ guardians, so thank you very much for taking the time to write your post. I will pass on your comments to Dr Pritchard and Nurse Jo who I'm sure will be delighted to hear such lovely feedback. Thank you. Linda
