My father is a patient in Felsted ward. Was left in a fluid bloodstained bed the fluid was from his arm that had had an IV line inserted incorrectly. This had been leaking all night and morning it was still leaking when we arrived in the afternoon. A Tea Lady gave him a large pad to put under his arm covering the soaked bedding. This was the morning tea lady, his bed was only changed in the afternoon because we asked when we visited. Also he had a nurse come into his room with his drug chart and say "I don't know why they've sent me in here, do you know what drugs you have to take, I don't know what to do". My father replied. "No I don't". This person left the room without giving my father any drugs. Thank God. There are not enough nurses or senior members of staff on duty in this ward.
