"Made me feel relaxed"

I visited Hairmyres Cardiology Medical department recently.  I have multiple myloma and pulmonary fibrosis and recently have suffered breathlessness and fatigue.  Consultants wanted to check if I had 'hardening of the heart'.

My echo scan was carried out by Nicola.  I had been very apprehensive about what the scan might find but she made me feel relaxed.  She invited me to view the scan as it was being carried out and it was not long before she told me that my heart looked normal.

I have a forthcoming appointment with a cardiologist at Hairmyres.
