I want to thank the staff at the Rothschild Berkhamsted surgery for the service they gave.

I had had problems with a stye and the night before I was due to go on holiday it inflamed badly. I went to the surgery at about 10.15 and the receptionist arranged for me to see a doctor at 11.30. He sent a prescription for anti biotic to Boots which I picked up at 12.30 - an hour before my taxi to Heathrow.

On my return my tablets had disappeared in a baggage check in Nice. I phoned the surgery and again, within the hour, my replacements were at Boots.
