I recently attended Inverclyde Royal Hospital for Dupuytren’s Release surgery. It would be remiss of me not to complement the hospital and staff for the high standard of care and attention I received throughout all aspects of my journey.

I first attended Pre- Op and following examination by my nurse, she suggested I see my GP to request a visit to Dermatology. Within 4 weeks I had been seen by Dermatology and a Basal Cell carcinoma was removed.

I returned to Pre-Op for further examination and was then invited to attend the Orthopaedics ward, as a day case. I received excellent care throughout the procedure before being examined by the Consultant and discharged.

Several visits were required to the Fracture and Orthopaedics Clinic to review, clean and redress the wound. The staff were exceptional always friendly and cheerful, quickly dressing the operated hand and ensuring that I was comfortable before allowing me to leave.
