"Extremely helpful and supportive"

I’ve just completed my block sessions with the very lovely Amy (Occupational Therapist) in Carluke Health Centre in South Lanarkshire.

Amy was outstanding to deal with and extremely helpful and supportive towards me. Particularly due to me being Autistic and suffering from an Anxiety Disorder. 

Her help to understand where I was when we began our sessions to her supplying strategies to cope with my anxiety helped to create a tool bag of tips for me to turn to when I’m struggling in everyday life. She also supplied me with signpost information for Autism which was really helpful. I was only diagnosed in 2023 so it’s all new to me and a learning curve managing day to day.

I wouldn’t have gotten through the last few months with my anxiety and stress if it wasn’t for Amy’s support and help. 

I’d highly recommend this service to anyone looking to work on themselves with anxiety and to talk about their feelings around coping and mapping out goals.
