"Awful patient triage"

Until recently you called the surgery to book a n appointment/general enquiry.

The practice has now introduced a website which triages your request. The website form is long, not content specific and doesn’t enable you to speak to anyone.

For example, I need to confirm or book vacinnations for my whole family. The website does not allow me to request this. So I have to send 5 requests for 5 different dates.

I don’t know if this is std NHS practice or local to the GP but it’s so awful we are considering a move to another practice.
