At the time of writing I have been waiting with no updates on my appointment for an hour - and still not even heard when I’ll be seen at what time.
I had to take the day off work unpaid for this appointment, and if I had known that it’d be this busy I wouldn’t have. This is the second time this week I feel like I’ve been messed around, as I was originally meant to have a midwife appointment one late morning which was changed to ‘at some point' in the afternoon so I don’t even know what time that will be and will have to spend the whole afternoon waiting for it.
I understand the NHS is stretched extremely thin and I can appreciate being understaffed. If my partner and I could have been notified of the waiting time before we got here - e.g if someone could have rang and said that things are running behind and could I get here a bit later today, I would have been more than happy to do that.
