I completed an online patient consultation form which was very in-depth and I spent 30 minutes detailing every aspect of my issues and past treatments and also my specific expectations regarding the treatment I wished to receive from a GP. I received a text message to attend Chingway medical centre which I did this morning only to be seen by a physiotherapist and not a GP, the physio is unable to prescribe any pain relief or anti-inflammatory treatments which is what I expressly requested on my form. I was told to go back to reception to make an appointment to see a GP, the receptionist told me to scan a code on the wall and to complete the online form, the same form I'd spent 30 minutes filling in originally. I did this once again only to press the 'submit' button and be told ' something went wrong'. Finally the receptionist inputted my symptoms and details into her computer and I was told to go home and someone will call me back. I've taken a day off work to attend an appointment with a very severe issue and have done my very best to spend time furnishing the practice with very comprehensive and detailed answers to all the questions only to be now sat back at home with zero treatment plan, zero pain relief, zero interaction with a GP, zero indication of when I'll be contacted and zeo earnings for the day. I feel I have given your practice a very high standard of communication and fulfilled my part in both that and attending the appointment promptly and with all the relevant information whereas you have not been able to complete the most basic requirement of mine which was to see a GP.
