"Impressed with the professional approach"

About: Whytemans Brae Hospital / Podiatry

(as the patient),

After a period in hospital I attended podiatry over a period of time.

I was very impressed with the professional approach taken by the whole team.  I was seen by several members of the team.

I liked the way they all worked together, supported each other and learnt from each other.  It gave me confidence to see that they all seemed so committed to their own personal development - a credit to any organisation.

They 'approached' my feet in a very caring way, always telling me what they were doing and were very sensitive to how I was feeling.  I appreciated that.

I also appreciated the on-going advice they all gave me.

As a result my feet really improved much quicker than I was expecting and are continuing to improve.

I was also impressed with the depth of knowledge of all the staff in being able to answer my numerous questions across other medical issues.

Thank you so much to the podiatry team with Fife NHS.  Keep up the great work

Sorry about the delay in responding to your feedback about the podiatry service but unfortunately I hadn't been alerted to your post.

I am delighted you have been impressed with the team at Whyteman's Brae, they do work very well together to deliver excellent patient care. It's great to know your feet are improving quicker than you had thought they may.

I am glad the podiatrists were able to explain everything to you and be understanding to you as a whole person. Their depth of knowledge is indeed amazing and their desire to keep building on that too is admirable.

Being informed and having questions about your health can often help people be more involved in their care and it is good that you found our podiatrists to be helpful to you in this way.

I will ensure the team at Whyteman's Brae know about your feedback. It always means a lot when someone takes the time to let us know how we are doing and thank you once again for doing this.
