"I was very pleased and impressed with the care"

I had to spend 3 days in hospital and it was a real blessing to be able to leave hospital and receive ongoing treatment in the comfort of my own home, rather than having to stay in hospital for a week. 

The Acute Care at Home team came right away and took over my complete care. I was very pleased and impressed with the care I received at home. All the healthcare professionals (consultant, doctors, nurses & dietician) were all very pleasant, thorough and excellent at their jobs.

This is an excellent and invaluable service which is very beneficial to older people. If it wasn’t for this great team, I would have had to stay in hospital for longer and my recovery would have been slower.
