It felt empowering that I could take control over my own recovery. In a time I felt very out of control. I learnt that my illness does not define me and I can take small steps that make a massive difference in helping me to live my life the way I want to lead it.

I wasn’t living before this - just existing - now all that has changed. I now have the tools I need to make long term changes that are positive and meaningful to me.
