"Fabulous Care"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Stroke Care (Ward 3 Ramone)

(as a service user),

I had a suspected stroke last week and spent a week in the Acute Stroke Ward Ramone 3 in CAH.

The care was exceptional and all of the staff on the ward deserve credit and praise.

Dr McCormick took time to explain everything to me fully, he was never in a hurry and made sure I knew and understood everything.

The nurses and health care assistants were kind, caring and attentive. Again, nothing was too much trouble for them, they all went out of their way to care for me.

Finding myself in a Stroke ward was frightening but the staff all were reassuring and supportive and put me at my ease throughout. They made time to listen to my worries and had my welfare and wellbeing as their priority.
