"They are a shinning example"

My mum was unwell at home, I called the GP practice and she was seen by the ANP , she was very reluctant to go into hospital.

The nurse suggested a referral to our local Hospital at Home team , they responded within 40 mins and were in her house assessing her. There was a doctor and nurse attending , they treated her with dignity, respect and compassion. The staff were friendly and polite and fully explained everything they were doing to her . 

I feel they are a shinning example of what the NHS has to offer in order to keep patients at home , we are lucky to have a team like this in NHS Borders!!.
