"Referral wait times awful and poor communication"

About: Amersham Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

Amersham's department of dermatology and skin surgery - I had an initial appointment quickly and it was confirmed I need surgery on several moles. I was not able to have this done on the same day and was told it would take 4 - 6 weeks to be booked back in for the surgery.

I have now been waiting 8 weeks with zero communication from them. I have rang the appointments line every week, always having to wait an hour to get through to someone. Every time I have been told to carry on waiting and there is nothing they can do.

I have an extensive family history of skin cancer and my mental health has drastically deteriorated during this waiting time.
