"Occupational therapy"

About: Coatbridge Locality Support Service / Community mental health team outreach

(as the patient),

I had a really positive experience with my occupational therapist, Sarah. She offered consistent support for my mental health and played a big role in helping me build confidence and structure in my daily life. Thanks to her encouragement and guidance, I started getting out and about more, which made a huge difference in how I felt.

Sarah also connected me with a local mental health group, which eventually led to me volunteering at my local charity shop—something I never thought I’d be doing. That opportunity has been incredibly rewarding. I genuinely appreciated her help and support.
