"Everyone was so helpful"

I recently spent an overnight stay following an ablation procedure at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, in the CIU, Ward 23..

Being extremely anxious when in hospital the nurses on the day ward made me feel much calmer as the day wore on. They worked brilliantly together, a great team, all of them very caring and empathetic while at the same time sharing a great sense of humour. The immediate switch from them sharing friendly banter to dealing with a potential very serious situation was incredible.

I’d particularly like to thank Lorraine for her expertise and swift action in resolving the problem so quickly and also for her cheerful anecdotes throughout the day which really helped me feel more relaxed.

Also, I’d like to thank all the night shift nurses including Daniella and Regy who were a great help. Their decision to keep me in overnight was very reassuring while they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

Seeing the nurses perform their duties really brought it home as to how much they do for all patients on a daily basis, very impressive and very much appreciated. Thank you to The Royal Bournemouth Hospital which is a very friendly place, everyone was so helpful.
