"She was always professional, respectful, courteous, friendly"

About: Community Occupational Therapy / Kirkcaldy & Postural Management

(as a service user),

Gill came to my house as a result of a referral to her service. Gill surveyed my bathroom for helpful installations. Gill was always professional, respectful, courteous, + friendly.

We agreed on two bathroom installations, both very helpful, + they were rapidly installed.

Gill came back to the house to inspect them, adjusted them, + made sure I was comfortable with them.

I am much obliged to Gill for her support + wish her the very best.

Dear "learningps89",

Thank you for taking the time to provide the Community Occupational Therapy service with your feedback. Stories like yours help us shape the services that we deliver by letting us know if we are meeting the needs of people accessing our service.

I was delighted to read that the equipment/adaptations that Gill has provided you with have made such a difference and that Gill and the Kirkcaldy Community OT team have been able to assist you in being more able to manage activities of daily living in your bathroom more safely and independently.

I also just want to thank you for the kind appreciative comments, which I have shared with Gill. Kind compliments, such as yours, go a long way towards boosting staff morale. So, I have shared your lovely words with Gill, who is delighted to know that she has been able to help you and that she has made a positive difference to your safe level of independence and quality of life.

We wish you all the very best for the future, but should you or anyone you know require our services in the future, then please do not hesitate to get in touch to make a referral to Community OT through the Fife Council Social Work Contact Centre.

With our Very Best Wishes, Neil (Gill and the Kirkcaldy Community OT Team)
