"We found them very helpful"

About: Community Mental Health / Community Mental Health Team (Elderly)

(as a relative),

My husband was in hospital after falling down stairs due to alcohol abuse. After that we were referred to the Mental Health for the Elderly - Occupational Therapy as my husband's memory was poor.

We found them very helpful with lots of advice about making life easier. The Nurse kept in touch regularly by phone & visited every few months. We also had 3 appointment with the Consultant in charge.

We have now been discharged but know how to contact again if needed. We have found it a very good service & appreciate all their help & advice.
