Hi, I would like to comment on my recent colonoscopy appointment. I have to say I was quite worried about the procedure in the days leading up to it, made worse by the delay in the instruction package arriving, (not until the morning of the procedure!)
Thankfully I was contacted by telephone by your team member who emailed me some forms, and with information on the powders packet that came the same day, I managed to sort the pre colonoscopy procedure correctly enough.
On the day staff were very helpful and considerate. My primary concern was that the pain relief would not be sufficient, in fact my ex nurse sister mentioned this to nursing staff, unfortunately this proved the case.
During the colonoscopy I'm afraid I over used the gas and air to compensate for the under sedation I felt. The nurse next my head, (Adriane) did a great job of distracting me, and everything seemed to be explained well.
So thank you all for your care.
