"She has made our lives much easier"

(as a carer),

Gillian from Kirkcaldy Occupational Therapy visited myself and my husband recently. She has made our lives much easier as my mobility has worsened over the past year. With Gillian's experience and attention to detail especially with raised chairs and appliances measured carefully we have been fortunate and appreciate everything very much.

Dear "nitratetb89 ",

I was delighted to read that the equipment/adaptations that Gill has provided you with have made such a difference and that Gill and my Kirkcaldy Community OT team have been able to assist you in being more able to safely manage the activities in your home.

I also just want to thank you for the kind appreciative comments, which I have shared with Gill. Kind compliments, such as yours, go a long way towards boosting staff morale. I have therefore shared your lovely words with Gill, who is delighted to know that she has been able to help you and your husband and that she has been able to make a positive difference to maximise your continued independence. So, thank you again for taking the time to share your experiences with us. Stories like yours help us shape the services that we deliver by letting us know if we are meeting the needs of people accessing our service.
