"Treated with sympathy and care"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I have seen lots of complaints about the NHS but wonder if only patients with some a grumble bother to write.

I was rushed into Blackburn Hospital with a severe nose bleed.. I was treated with sympathy and care.

After spending time in Assessment, I was transferred to Ward C 14 where the staff were caring, efficient and made sure patients were reassured.

The doctors were equally effective. They were knowledgeable and spent time discussing conditions and treatment with their patients. No complaints, just grateful thanks.
