"The staff were amazing, kind and professional"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My 94 year old mother in law had a fall resulting in her sustaining a hip fracture, on arrival at A&E the reality’s of the strain on our amazing NHS could be seen by the queue of trolleys waiting in the corridor.

The staff were amazing, kind and professional and not fazed by the amount of patients waiting, everything was explained to us and reassurance given. Thank you all for the amazing work and service you provide

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We’re truly sorry to hear about your mother-in-law’s fall and wish her a smooth and steady recovery. It means a great deal to our team to know that, despite the pressures and challenges, you felt supported and reassured throughout her time in A&E.

Thank you again for your heartfelt feedback.
