"Annual mammogram after breast cancer"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Breast care and breast surgery

(as the patient),

Today was my 4th annual mammogram after breast surgery in 2021.

The appointment always arrives in plenty of time in the time period promised April/May each year.

This year I was X-rayed by Ash who immediately put me at ease. Although I am used to the examination she explained every step and positioned me in an efficient way. I said you are an expert at this and she confided in me that she had been doing it for over 30 years - well you can tell Ash you are a master at your craft, thank you for your expertise.

Dear KMcGzt64,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, following your recent visit for your annual mammogram.

I am so pleased to hear that you felt you were cared for in such an expert manner, and you felt at ease during your yearly surveillance mammogram.

I will be sure to extend your thanks onto Ash, and Suzanne Grimstead, who is the Breast Care Unit Manager.

Thank you again for such lovely feedback.

Kind regards

Suzie Avery,

Lead Breast CNS
