"Felt so safe here"

About: Loane House / Ward 1

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was sent to ward 1 for rehabilitation and I'll be honest

I was dreading it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

This place is so homely, you are not pushed aside. Everyone of the staff are so friendly and willing to help in anyway.

I'm going to a home for a few weeks and I've mixed feelings about leaving, I felt so safe here.

I was brought to a wee room a few times a week with other patients where we would sit around chatting,  playing music, we would say what songs we hadn't heard in a while and the woman would play them for us and we all sang.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff in ward 1, Loane House.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent admission to Loane House Ward 1.

It is delightful to read how you have described the staff their professionalism as a team. This reflects on the care delivered: high quality person centred care to all patients.

I will ensure to share your kind feedback with the team.

I trust that you will continue to progress in the next step of your discharge in the care home facility.

Kind Regards

Donna O’Neill

Senior Nurse
