Where do I start!!! A GP gets me to use the dining room type chair I was sitting on to get up on the examination bed because it couldn’t be lowered and there was no step to use. I then had to get off the bed unassisted and carry the chair back to the desk while the doctor is just sitting there. Given my age and medical problems I was flabbergasted.
Different error…..on the10th April ,as arranged by the GP, I was asked to send in blood pressure readings via the link but when I attempted to use the link it said it had expired!!! If they want 7 days readings they need to keep the link open long enough!!!
Another error….on 16th April I was due to have a phone call appointment, which a doctor had asked for. About an hour before the appointment was due I got a phone call to say the doctor wasn’t available so the appointment was moved to the afternoon. About an hour or so after the new appointment time I hadn’t heard anything so I phoned the surgery only to be told I did not attend my appointment……why would I be attending my appointment when it was supposed to be over the phone. By this time I’m livid and ask that the did not attend was taken off my record but as of now it is still on there. Eventually a doctor phoned and said they couldn’t see my econsult, well they wouldn’t would they, because It was the surgery that asked to speak to me so I hadn’t done an e-consult obviously!!!!! They didn’t have a clue as to what they were supposed to be speaking to me about . All this has happened in the space of a few weeks. Most contact with this surgery causes so much frustration it reduces me to tears. They don’t know who you are, why you’re in contact with them and don’t seem to ever look at your medical history. Far too many mistakes and so much incompetence!!!
