About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as a relative),

My wife went in to DGRI to be induced to welcome our baby into the world.

From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome.

Our midwife Katie was absolutely fantastic and I don’t my wife would have got through it with out her .

The team that night from midwife doctor support staff where all fantastic can’t thank them enough for the help and support we received.

We where discharged in the sat with midwife Tammy who again was great giving us help and support and information about coming home and what to look out for witch was fantastic as for her advice we called the next day and ended up in neonatal care .

Again all the staff are a credit to the hospital and we are ever so grateful

Dear, Nathanw

Thank you for feedback and congratulations on the birth of your baby. I am pleased to read that your wife was well supported in her care, it is reassuring to know that the staff provided a high level of support and provide all the information you needed following discharge.

I will be sure to share your feedback with the team and individuals involved, I am sure they will love to see your kind words.

Kind regards,

Stephen
