"I was treated respectfully at all times"

I was at the Endoscopy department for a procedure that I was feeling really anxious about. All of the team members I dealt with were understanding, reassuring, caring and professional.

The intake Nurse was a student and she was friendly, informative, effective and knowledgeable and put me at ease. She was also my Nurse in recovery and took great care of me.

During the procedure a Nurse chatted to me and effectively distracted me and encouraged me when using the gas and air. The Doctor kept me informed of the progress of the procedure and everyone made me feel as relaxed as possible.

I cannot fault the team and they made a potentially undignified experience easier to endure. I was treated respectfully at all times. Well done PRI!
