"Amazing ambulance crew"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

My boyfriend came off his off road dirt bike and his leg was in some mess and unfortunately looked worse for wear.

The off road centre had managed to get him off the hill to get an ambulance.

By time I got there the ambulance was on its way, the crew arrived and I can say the both of them were amazing.

Gemma and Brian from the Kilmarnock ambulance service were outstanding, they chatted keep us informed. My boyfriend gave them the banter and they took us to our local trauma centre which was fantastic. They were over 40 mile away from their base but made sure my boyfriend got sorted they came in and checked up before heading back to base.

A huge thank you from both him and myself we felt very reassured and felt he was in safe hands.

Massive thank you guys and we hope not to meet you in these circumstances again. Take care thank you 💗

Hi Marsio,

I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend's recent accident and I hope he's doing ok. That sounds like a really distressing experience.

I just wanted to thank your for your kind comments about our staff at the Scottish Ambulance Service who looked after him. This is brilliant to see and our staff will really appreciate reading this positive feedback. It always means a lot to our staff when patients, partners or family members take the time to share their experience and say thanks.

Thanks again for doing so and please pass on our very best wishes to your boyfriend.

Take care,
Mark
