"The standard of care was second to none"

About: Emergency Department / Minor Injuries

(as a relative),

My mother received outstanding care at the Minor Injuries unit. The service was incredibly efficient, and the standard of care was second to none. The professionalism of the staff was exceptional—they demonstrated genuine compassion while delivering care to a very high standard. The staff were excellent in reassuring and supporting my mother throughout her visit.

As this is a new service, I wanted to highlight just how effective it was. It clearly has the potential to be a valuable asset to the NHS by helping to reduce the number of patients attending A&E. Expanding this model to other areas within the authority could further ease pressure on emergency departments by managing less serious cases more appropriately.

Thank you for the excellent service!

Dear columbach99,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Minor Injuries.

I am pleased to hear that your mother received excellent care when she needed to attend hospital and she was very well looked after by our dedicated and professional team. I can imagine that this would have been very reassuring for you both.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the whole team who I am sure will get a real boost in hearing it.

I hope your mother is feeling better soon.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
