"Grade E - must do better "

About: Studholme Medical Centre

I’m a patient at Studholme and I recently consulted my GP. It took over 9 weeks to get an appointment. It was a telephone appointment and I was told that they no longer offer face to face appointments anymore. When I queried this the Practice Manager said the Conservative Party wouldn’t fund his Practice hence there is a 9 week wait for a telephone appointment. I mentioned this could lead to delayed diagnosis and he had absolutely no interest in what I was saying. It’s clear Studholme just wants lots of money from NHS England but doesn’t want to deliver care because that’s an expense against the Partners profit margin. How is this allowed and why isn’t something being done about this?

Thank you for your review.

Current wait time for routine appointments is 2 to 3 weeks depending on which clinician you would like to see. Approx 75% of all our appts are face to face appts. We are not sure why you mention the Conservative party as our practice manage has not spoken to you.
