Mid April I was experiencing symptoms of sore leg and breathlessness. I called my GP practice (Woodside Medical Group Aberdeen) approx 10.30am and had an appointment mid afternoon. After a thorough examination my GP decided to call Aberdeen Royal infirmary, they couldn't see me that day but an appointment was made for mid morning the next day with the DVT clinic.
I would just like to say the treatment, respect and being kept up to date was tremendous. This was from the DVT clinic, who then got me in to ward 101 day patient. The staff here was just as tremendous. I was then given an Ultra scan in the xray dept in the orange zone, again brilliant staff and service. I was then given a CT scan in the orange zone, again brilliant staff.
First class treatment and service from an underfunded, under staffed service. The staff in all departments were brilliant and always had a smile on their faces.
Thank you to all the staff and GP for the care I received.
