About: NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service) NHS Grampian / GDENS (Grampian Emergency Dental Service)

(as a relative),

I contacted NHS on 111 for my husband regarding dental pain. We were so impressed by the service we got from the first phone call to the dental treatment received. Everyone we spoke to so helpful and understanding. After hearing of people not able to get through on the phone when calling, I was really impressed by the response and subsequent call backs to arrange for us to attend an emergency appointment.

I am glad our colleagues at 111 were able to deal with your call in a timely manner given they are a very busy service and your husband was given an appointment. I hope the treatment he received at the dental clinic has resolved his dental problem.

I was sorry to learn you had cause to contact 111 on behalf of your husband when he was experiencing dental pain, I hope your husband is now feeling much better after his treatment and not in too much discomfort.

I note there are a few services tagged to your story, I reply on behalf of NHS 24. It’s re-assuring to read that you felt everyone you spoke to, during your call to the 111 service, and from the Emergency Dental Service, were helpful and understanding.
